We are thrilled to announce that our organization has successfully commenced operations in the West Kootenay region, following the award of a contract through BC Transit‘s standard procurement process. The contract encompasses both conventional and paratransit services in the region, covering several communities including Trail, Castlegar, and the Boundary Transit System (Grand Forks).
As a leading transit provider, PWTransit Canada is responsible for managing multiple contracts on behalf of BC Transit in British Columbia. The initial contract term is set at five years, with the possibility of extensions up to nine years, reflecting our long-term commitment to the communities we serve.
