Comox Valley Transit provided high-visibility transportation during the recent May long weekend Airshow at Canadian Forces Base Comox.
Working in partnership with federal and civilian agencies throughout the event’s planning and execution phases, Comox Valley Transit was key to ensuring the day’s success within the community. As a direct result, it consolidated and strengthened ties with many organizations.
At a post-event debrief held last week, Operators, Supervisors and Management received positive feedback from all quarters regarding the effectiveness of their business despite many unforeseen challenges staff faced on the day itself, including an unprecedented number of riders attending combined with the high temperatures experienced.
Comox Valley Transit responded accordingly to all challenges faced that day, ensuring everything ran smoothly while also directly fulfilling all our company Core Values.
