On October 14th, we gathered at the Mariott Hotel to honour and celebrate the remarkable milestones achieved by three esteemed Prince George Transit veteran drivers.
Randy Briggs has provided an astounding 45 years of dedicated service, Jack Dally was honoured for 40 years behind the wheel, and Lou Zerebeski was recognized for his 28 years of commitment. The families of the honourees, as well as Prince George Transit staff, were invited to help mark these significant achievements.
The special evening featured a formal buffet-style dinner, inspiring speeches, and the presentation of gift awards from Prince George Transit, PWT Corporate and BC Transit. It was a wonderful opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to these remarkable individuals and share great moments with the drivers we hold in high esteem.
Our PGT management team of Kathy McMillan, Chris Holbrook, Franklin Balolong, Sam Campbell and Denis Litvinov were joined by James Vine, Vice President of PWT Transit, to help celebrate the incredible contributions of our veteran drivers.
It was also great to see BC Transit Regional Operations Manager Sheryl Stevens and City of Prince George Transit Planner Michael Coulson join the celebration.
